Visa 

 

 

* Buisness visa is the relevant visa for the internship.

 

the max length of stay for buisness visa is 3 months (and than you will need to issue another visa before it expires;)

 

The process:

 

* the organisation need to apply for buisness visa permit . (might take a while, and requires details from the NGO regarding your working conditions, cv etc)

 

*a few days before your arrival :

;* need to go to the Myanmar embassy (we went in Bangkok, the embassy is located about 40 minutes from the Kau-san area, open from 9 to 12)

 

dont foget to bring:

 

 the permits + letter (you will get from the NGO)

2 passport photos

buisness visa application form ;

a photo copy of your passport 

money - 8250 Thai Bhat (arround 245$) - it's 500 Thai Bhat  cheaper if you collect it one day after, but it balances with the transportation costs.

 

 collect your passport between 15:30-16:30
